You know whats a good brand n what breaks fast n has aloot of
distortion....LOL..i said headunit....hAHAHAHAhaha beavis.....

I haven't owned everything in "group #1", but i have owned pieces from
JL Audio, Orion, and Audiobahn. Those companies have historically
made solidly-built, good-sounding units, and I haven't heard any
problems as far as dealer support from them, either.

If you've owned everything in the second group and are happy with your
purchases, that's one thing - but to trash brands that you haven't
owned is another entirely.

My only experience with Sony car audio was absolutely miserable, but
that was with one head unit back in 1991 or so, so I don't go around
bitching about Sony. I simply don't have enough first-hand experience
to judge their entire product line.

hmm i think swiss audio might be under pricing thier stuff right
now.i've seen pyramid/logic soundlabs/soundstrom priced higher.....
and alpine amps i think are cheaper than rf/mtx.
