Default A quick question

Hey I'm new to the whole recording process, currently going to the
Institute of Production and Recording, but none of that matters, my
real deal here is that I'm interested in getting either a mac
computer, or a macbook, either one used so that I can run pro tools
from the home, and save myself a trip to school all the time, so my
question is what is the minimum requirment on a mac comp, or macbook
to run pro tools? Probably a simple question, but I'm curious as I
plan on purchasing used, any help would be appreciated.

Simple questions have complicated answers. I would suggest asking the
people who support the computers at your school. They have some idea
of the scope of the projects that you're likely to be taking home. And
remember, there's more to a functional ProTools system than a
computer.
