The user manual is terrible.

I bought this unit for the USB/Ethernet feature.

Yet I can not make the USB work.

Yes I put the input knob at USB/NET with my 1Gb USB Kingston (very
standard) key in, * WHAT EXACTLY is supposed to happen *? There are a
few MP3 songs on it, on the root and in folders. The display just
shows 'USB'.

What is weird is that I performed the firmware upgrade though the same
USB key and everything went smoothly - and it was recognized.
