That's a TV conversion mirror (used for setting conversion on older
color TV sets), not a sign, definitely not from the 40's, and as you
say 'cracked' to boot (mirror not intact); also missing its' folding
stand and soft carry case (evidently.)

Out of curiousity, what's 'Audio' about it?
