Any public domain push-pull 211 amp circuits available?
Couldn't find anything after googling for
about 2 hours. |

But some obviously have, and I got a few google hits with '211 push pull schematic' http://www.bonavolta.ch/hobby/en/audio/211_3.htm http://www.audiokit.it/ITAENG/Creature/ARBOS/Arbos2.jpg http://www.audiokit.it/ITAENG/Creature/ARBOS/ARBOS.HTML http://www.audiokit.it/ITAENG/KitEle...50/APF50.3.gif and one circuit for 813, convertable to 211 ... http://www.izzy-wizzy.com/audio/images/powampmk4aud.gif The 211 has been mainly used for SET amps, but not the slightest reason why they shouldn't make a nice PP amp, and you should easily get 50 watts of class A, perhaps 100W class AB. The OPT required for a pair needs lots of turns per volt because the RL a-a value is rather high. There should be a few schematics in the old tech books.... But a very interesting link with some push pull wobbulators at http://www.meta-gizmo.com/Tri/Ts/MsTG1.htm To understand the need for two description versions to describe expensive amplifiers, one for idiots, and another for the technically minded, go to http://www.republika.pl/mparvi/ankoru.htm This last one illustrates that the BSQ, ( bull **** quotient ) rises at an exponential rate of increase as the price of amplifiers increases towards the stratophuctic.
