Richer Sounds in the UK were selling the HD600 brand new for just £99
over Xmas!. I think even now the most you'll have to pay for a pair
from them is £120!!, you might wanna consider getting a pair from the
UK if your buying them outside the US.

Sound Emporium, and others who have been unjustly maligned by the RAPIST

On 12/10/02, I spoke to Mr. Douglas's superior, the V.P. for Marketing at
Sennheiser.

The point about which Mr. Douglas apparently confused you is that there are
two authorized DISTRIBUTORS, who sell to everybody else on a nonexclusive
basis.

Mr. Douglas may have phrased his answer in a way that confused you into
thinking that the actual retail of Sennheiser audiophile headphones is
carried out by an authorized dealer system. This is not true. It is
Sennheiser's specific strategy to get their headphones into as many small
establishments as possible. ANYONE may purchase headphones for resale from
one of the two DISTRIBUTORS.

Sennheiser informs me that there never have been any counterfeited Chinese
audiophile headphones. The counterfeits are in the computer product line.

The owner of Earmax, H. Huschens, gives me permission to quote part of his
email to me. It read as follows:

"To the point: Sound Emporium is a bona fide dealership for the EarMax
products. They have been a very good one, too, which is rare these days."

You made a mistake, Brian. Now stop.
