Connecting Headphones to a pre-amp
There is trend with pre-amps these days to NOY include a headphone
jack or means of connecting headphones. So how does one do this? Buy a headphone amp? Ross |

Pete's right. I've yet to run into any line out that could not drive 60 ohm
Grado phones just fine. The voltage required is so low that the phone's impedance being way below the line out's rated load is not really a problem. You may loose some bass extension in some cases.
