Default mesa boogie squealing reverb

my amp squeals until I turn down the reverb or switch the stand by
switch on and off. whats up with that???? jmb

sorry, its a subway blues amp with 4 12ax7s and 2 el84s. one of the el84 burnt up before this happened. ( burnt a hole right in the top of it) smelled bad. thanks for any advice you have . jmb

sorry, its a subway blues amp with 4 12ax7s and 2 el84s. one of the el84
burnt up before this happened. ( burnt a hole right in the top of it)
smelled bad. thanks for any advice you have .




** You need to check out the twin RCA plug lead that connects the reverb
tank to the amp chassis.

Make sure the plugs fit tightly in the sockets at both ends - use pliers
to gently squeeze the outside contacts inwards if they seem a loose fit.

Also apply a little WD40 on the parts with a small brush if there is any
sign of dull corrosion on the parts.
