I've been having a problem recording with audacity. (Our mike is plugged
into the computer sound card). Audacity records for about 30 seconds and
then freezes and won't go further. I'm able to click "stop" and exit and
save the recording.

Any ideas what is causing this?

I'm able to use a different recording program with no trouble.

There seems to be a conflict between the tbs montego drivers and norton
systemworks.

How difficult can this be to remedy? - the solution seems obvious.
