Default sub in a regular cab ranger

Recently i've been looking at adding subs to my truck. It's a 1998

ford
ranger xlt, with a 4.0 v6. The main problem is that its a regular

cab,
hence there is very little space for mounting any type of subs

without
putting them in the bed. I want to mount 2 8's or possibly 2 10's
behind the seats. I have seen JL audio's stealthbox for ford rangers
that I am extremely interested in, but it only works on up to 97's,

for
some reason it won't work on 98 rangers and newer ( I have no idea
why). Is there any sort of adapter that to get it to work. Otherwise

i
was wondering if anyone can recommend an enclosure small enough to

fit
behind the seats without giving up more then 1 click of seat

movement.
I have seen the mtx thunderform sub, but it is only 1 10' sub. Has
anyone had experience with this sub? And what amp would you use? I
would like to spend less then $600 bucks.

you have no other choice but to install small sub in small space. If
you go for big sub putting in the bed, the music will not come to your
ear.

I just put two kicker L7 eights in a 2003 ranger regular cab. One person
i know for sure that can make an enclosure. You. It's not tough. Here's
a decent guide to get you started.

http://www.mobileaudio.com/rac-faq/rac-faq_4.html#SEC80

Just figure out how much cubit feet you're working with. The way mine
is set up, i started with about 12.4 cu/f for one and 16.5 for the
other. Then just plug your numbers into the equations on that site.
Will even figure out SPL, airspace, you name it. Figure out which subs
you're going to use, look on the manufacturer website for exact
dimensions, subtract that and you're in good shape.
