Default Question for Lionella

Is it true you don't have real bagels in France?

Of course you have your own wonderful breads -- boules, croissants,
brioches. All of them are superb. But not a bagel to be found?

I don't know what do you means exactly by "real" but you are right.
Baguels aren't very common in French bakeries

Of course you have your own wonderful breads -- boules, croissants,
brioches.

Which are only the most well-known of "viennoiseries" to which you have to
add all the regional specialities.
From USA France looks like a small and united country. But in fact it's an
aggregate of 400 "pays" engaged in a merciless competition to preserve and
to promote their own culture and specialities.

I imagine that baguels are still a little bit too weak to emerge from this
immense scuffle.

All of them are superb. But not a bagel to be found?

Perhaps a business opportunity for you... :-)

Perhaps you should invest in a bagel cart, and sell them
on the Nice-Lyons run.
