Default Nakamichi MB-3s - worth repairing?

I have a Nakamichi MB-3s 7 disc cd player from about 1997. I started
jamming in the changer mechanism around 2000, just after the warranty
ran out. Due to having two young children and nowhere to safely place
it, I just boxed it until recently . Now I am wondering if it is worth
fixing. It appears from the reading I have done that the MusicBank
system was a reliability nightmare for Nak, and has gone the way of the
dodo bird! Too bad, as this player sounded really nice, better than the
Denon and Marantz single disc players I compared it with at the time.

If not worth fixing, it is worth anything for parts, or do I just junk
it?

Thanks
