Default Quatafire 610 audio hickup

Dear all,

I'm using the ESI Quatafire 610 icw my Dell Pentium 4 Inspiron laptop.
After updating the firmware and drivers from the device it will not
play contineuosly any more.

After each minute the sound hicks up. It is very weird!
I have all my power savings disabled. (before update it worked ok).

Has someone a clue?

Thanks Roel
