Default Emergency help with DEQ2496

I'm having problems getting my FBD to work on the DEQ. I go to the
second page, and set three parameters to "single" mode, in order for
them to be able to learn the problematic frequencies.

I then go to page 3 and go to run mode. At that time, the little
"pause" icon to the left comes on, showing that the three parameters
are ready to learn frequencies and suppress.

I hit the learn mode button, and I can hear the clicking sound as the
DEQ begins increasing gain. It will increase gain and start feeding
back, to the point that I have to bring down the master. However, the
frequencies never change on any of the three parameters.

I don't have them locked, as I turned the "locked" icon off of each
one.

Any advice?

Taylor
