Default GM Factory Radio AUX connection

I have a stock GM radio in my GMC Sierra Pickup (2002 model year). I
am considering attaching my XM radio to the AUX input on this radio.
Before I tear into my dashboard to remove the radio, does anyone know
what the input connector looks like on this? Is it a RCA plug or a
2.5mm audio plug or some special GM plug? Does any one know the pin
out? What is left, right and common? Any special tools required to
remove the radio?
Also is there a security lock that will shutdown the radio if I remove
it from the vehicle?
TIA Tim
