Playback Windows XP Digi 002
hi there
I am having a few playback issues with a recently bought new Digi 002: 1. How do i setup the Digi 002 to playback generally when i surf the web or hear the sounds you get when clicking on stuff on the desktop? for example myspace etc. to hear anything i have to actually download it and play it back through Windows Media Player. The Digi 002 works when i use in with Pro tools LE but not for general compute use. 2. When i playbabck through itunes, the tracks stutter loads and sound terrible. Sounds like loads of drop outs. I am running a Digital Village PC with Windows XP home edition Version 2 Service Pack 2. Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz, 2.79 GHz, 1GB RAM Thanks |

Playback Windows XP Digi 002
hey there-
I would say that you should stay away from the web surfing while having a session open. It would take a computer with a significant amount of Ram and horsepower than what you have there to be able that kind of multi-tasking. -Dan Powers www.realbraveaudio.com www.realbraveaudio.com/vanilla wrote: hi there I am having a few playback issues with a recently bought new Digi 002: 1. A 2.8GHz P4 and 1GB has plenty of power for a bit of web-surfing. But it isn't really about power. Clicks and pops when two programs look for the same resources can happen on a computer of any power. Anyway, that wasn't what he was asking. |

Oh c'mon! A 2.8GHz P4 and 1GB has plenty of power for a bit of web-surfing. Ok, sorry. Next time I'll be more careful with the wording. Darn Speed reading and skimming (pumping fist)! If I go into into my audio devices option in control panel and change the default to the 002 then that might do the trick or you can just listen to Mike Rivers. That sounds good too. dan powers www.realbraveaudio.com www.realbraveaudio.com/vanilla |
