Default Questions Car Audio

I recently received a new Kenwood MP3 player.
I have a '96 honda civic with the 2 factory speakers on the side doors in
the front and 2 factory speakers in the back behind the headrests.
It sounds ok, but i know im wasting a good mp3 player on crappy speakers, no
subwoofer, etc.
Just wondering if anyone could offer advice on what kind of new speakers to
get, if i should bother with a subwoofer, etc.
I want to make it sound better, louder, but not shake the next car beside me
loud.
Any advice? I dont have a lot to spend on this stuff but could spend a
couple hundred bucks.

Thanks

u could try a pioneer deck (any type of deck), u can go to wal-mart and
buy u the deck and the speakers for no more than $500 or even cheaper.

That statement surprised me too. With all the spelling errors and the
recommendation to use Wal-Mart as a car stereo supplier, I would have
thought it was someone much older and more experienced. [/SARCASM]
