I'm wondering what the power antenna is for. My car needs no
power antenna. A car tech book said that power antenna produces
12Volt when the radio is turn on. When the radio is off, voltage
down to 0. is this true???

The power antenna lead from your stereo will provide +12V when the
stereo is on. (Or maybe just when the radio is playing - different
brands work differently).

You can use the power antenna lead to turn on an amplifier if your
stereo doesn't have a separate amp turn-on lead. The power antenna
lead can NOT provide enough current to actually power an amplifier -
you'll need to run separate power and ground leads to the amplifier
for that.

i did what you told me. It works finally. The sound gets more powerful
than the last installation of one 12V connected to both turn-on and
the main 12V lead.
