Default Morch DP-6 tonearm anti-skating set up HELP! No clue in general.

Hi,

I am using a Morch DP6 tonearm with a Benz Micro-Glider (MC?), and a
Merrill Heirloom table. Old but solid rig.

Bottom line - I have finally hooked it up after moving 6 months ago
(local-so no transit problems with gear.) I had it set up by a pro
about 9 months ago.

Everything looks fine except I have no idea how to set the
anti-skating. Right now, it is completely loose. No drag at all that
I can tell. Screw is loose on the wheel, and the wire just slack.

I have looked at the manual and it is no help at all.

Some records sound fine, others do not (audiophile included.)

Anyone out there give me some advice on setting this up...and advice
on anti-skating in general?

It is crucial that it be set at all?

Thanks,
Mike
