Default X2 Wireless Mics

X2, the Sacramento company that makes/made digital wireless mics, was
acquired by Line 6 back in May. Line 6 appears to be a manufacturer of
electric gee-tars, amplifiers and other assorted audio devices. Does
anyone know what this means for the future of this technology? Will
Line 6 continue to develop products and technology or will they simply
continue to do production runs of existing products? Anyone heard
anything?
