but it seems that the signature needs translating so that you yourself
understand what it says:

If not for _that_ content in the .sig I had not bothered to comment in
the first place .... O;-) .. but you yourself write that a danish
language .sig is inappropiate in as much as the target audience can not
read it.

I don't usually comment on received emails in newsgroups - googling
carefully will, as I recall things show one other instant where I made a
similar exception due to the context, not very much considering my total
number of usenet posts - but your trying to split the topic would make
a fair following up too difficult so early in the morning. Newclients
generally have good facilities for applying different .sig files
depending on context. Also for simple IT-safety this newsclient has
mail sending disabled and I have a Faroe language course I need to edit
this morning, I can't use too much time on you Steen.
