Default Will Seas Odin MK3 do as centre?

How well will a Seas Odin MK3 work as a centre channel speaker, placed on
it's side?

I'm not able to find any measurements of dispersion anywhere.

My concerns are that the D'Appolito configuration of the speaker will limit
the horisontal dispersion when placed on the side.

I know I could go on and build the front set I have lying here and use them
for testing, but some formal input on the subject would be really nice.

Depends on how large an area it has to cover.

I'm not able to find any measurements of dispersion anywhere.

If this is a concern you should go for a coax.

At least it will by symmetric.

What prevents having it oriented vertically.

Three lines of ascii is "pushing it" signature-wise and wastes bandwidth
and diskspace, three lines of ascii in some non-newsgroup readable
language is to offend people as an added bonus.

Kind regards

Read it!, Apply it! - this is not a danish language newsgroup.

"Normal" non-high end application: surround setup in the livingroom with
listening positions som 3 or 4 meters (max.) away from the TV.

Dispersion needed, is in the area of approx. 50-90°, depending on the day.

Good point, but no "caompatible" coaxes for the drivers in my Odins (not yet
built).

Space generally. The Odin is almost 60cm tall. Due to WAF, the centre is
confined to space below the TV. Next, the location of the tweeter and
derived distance from tweeter to TV (I'd really like the tweeter to be as
close to the TV as possible).

Besides being off-topic:
Three lines is still well within the confines of RFC1855. Regarding the
language: some use the signaturespace for "geek code" or key fingerprints.
Should these uses offend me, just because I can't read them right away?

Since my signature is targeted towards [native] users of the Danish
language, I deem it OK, that it is not readily understood by other readers.

An R&D engineer with SEAS has kindly explained to me that the Odin has a dip
in vertical response as most other MTM configurations.
This deems it unsuitable for centre use, if placed on one side.

In response to the rant aired by Peter Larsen: I humbly apologize for any
offence my signature may have caused, either by presence, contents or
language. The signature space is, however, the authors to roam. My
signature persists so far.
