LECTU Microphones and Microphone Techniques. Arny Krueger has made over
500 live recordings in the past 5 years, over 100 in the past 60 days. He
owns more than 30 microphones and 4 different stereo and multi-track
recorders. Arny will tell what ideas and experiences guide him in using
microphones and in recording. Arny will talk about live recording, live
sound, and microphone technique, and will answer questions.

SIDE SHOW: Audition the Linkwitz "Orion" and "Pluto" speakers. Host Bruce
and Pluto owner/builder Russ Needle will briefly discuss the Linkwitz
designs. Listening is encouraged both before and after the meeting.

SIDE SHOW: Host Bruce will talk about the design and construction of his
listening room.

AES REPORT: The latest in audio from the SMWTMS members who attended the AES
Convention in Vienna.
