Very likely. Siegfried Linkwitz has a reputation for designing very nice
speaker systems, very low coloration, and he also shares responsibility for one
of the classic crossover formulas, the "Linkwitz-Riley" design. I've used some
of his suggestions to very good effect.

At the very least, everything the dude's written should be
inscribed in the family pages of your bible. Clear,
innovative and useful.

Want to know how to build and integrate bipolar (figure 8)
woofers into your monitoring system? Want to know why
your monitors sound so different at different angles?
And what can and cannot be done about it? Want to correct
your existing woofer's f-sub-C and Q-sub-tC to a value
of your choosing?

More importantly, would you like to have a good solid
intuitive model of pistonic loudspeaker behavior? Then
Siegfried Linkwitz is your man.

Whew. Sorry; got carried away. His early objections to
Joe D'Appolito's extensions proved wrong, but S.L. will
still sit at the right hand of ....

Enough. Read.

How does it sound?

Linkwitz may well be at the Stereophile show, which is worth attending to
listen to these things.
