FS: Vintage Altec-Lansing 871A "The Milano" Stereo Speakers

These are HUGE speakers mfg in 1969.. a very high end and collectible
speaker system. The dark oak veneer cabinets look like large end tables
and have doors that close to protect speakers and grill cloth. Can
easily double as end tables or a table to support stereo components or
whatever. Measure 30"Hx27"Wx19"D and each speaker weighs about 112 lbs.

Acoustic suspension , sealed cabinet system uses an ALNICO 15" woofer
(416-8Z) and an 18" cast iron horn driver/tweeter (806-8A/H-811 B) for
excellent dispersion. These drivers are same Altec used in many 1960's
and early 70's professional systems for Theatres.. known then as "The
Voice of the Theatre".

Uses a 2-way N-800-K crossover for dividing freq at 800Hz, and has a HF
Tweeter level control knob on back of cabinet.

8 ohms, 40-20kHz response, recommended 20-250 watts/ch rms.

All original drivers work perfectly! The dark oak cabinets and doors in
very good condition..would rate an 8.5/10 at least. Have original Altec
Warranty Card and Model 871A wiring diagram.

Altec sound, these are a wonderful set of vintage speakers. Located in
