Luxman RV -371 surround sound processor broke
on bypass no ploblem, no sound in surround sound
I contacted Luxman Japan, they said "It's 13 years old we do not support" I want it fixed. Any idea? Peter |

If you're *extremely* lucky, this may be a loose connection or a common component that can be replaced. If the failure is actually in the surround logic, odds are it will be cheaper to replace than to repair. |

If you aren't competent to trace signal paths yourself, you can try
taking it to someone who is. If you're *extremely* lucky, this may be a loose connection or a common component that can be replaced. If the failure is actually in the surround logic, odds are it will be cheaper to replace than to repair. I have fixed Yamaha surround sound receiver once, it was bad soldering. This Luxman is so difficult to remove any board, especially surround sound decoder, it's at bottom. Peter |
