grills on speaker pods
folks,
It is time for me to make the speaker pods for my New Beetle. I have the 4" grills from Boston Acoustics, but it will not be possible to get those grills to look flush with what I have in mind. Does anyone know how folks make custom speaker grills? I want them to be metal, not cloth! Sam -- See my links engine for a collection of sites that might be of interest to you. grills on speaker pods
i would buy some larger ones (maybe for 10's or 8's) in the style you want
that cut them up..... then you have a flat grill that you can mount underneath the cut out for the speaker and this is will essentialy look flush... i dont know how your doing this or what your using.... but if its a wood pod then i would cut the top piece of wood in a cool style... something cool like flames for the speaker opening or a charactor.. i dont know, just shooting of ideas now.
