Default Rectilinear III designer(s) ???

I picked up a set of these speakers recently (how I got them into my 2-door
Toyota I'll never know!), but they've been at home a while now, and I'm
becoming increasingly impressed. My ADS 710s don't hold a candle to them, and
the IIIs beat just about anything on the low end. In Googling I find that the
low end was always highly regarded, and also their "neutral...almost Quad
ESL-63 quality".

Now, I've had Quad-57s, KLH-9s, etc. as well as many dynamic speakers, and
would like to find out more about these IIIs, because they're GOOD.

Jon Dahlquist apparently did some tinkering with the IIIs when he was at
Rectilinear (between Grumman and before the DQ-10 company). He replaced
Bongiorno (who really badmouthed Morris Weiner, the owner, in some postings I
found), and I THINK Shahinian designed the other Rectilinear models.

Anybody got the inside scoop?
