Triad Variable Tube Power Supply Schematic
A while back there was a thread discussing variable bench supplies for
working with tubes. I found this is a Triad Transformer catalog, TR-52, from May 1952. Looks like it has what most people wanted. According to Triad, it will put out 0-300VDC and stay with 1/2% from 0-150ma. I put a rather large .jpg at: http://novatech-instr.com/Fun/triad_ps.jpg The R-26A is 880VCT at 200ma. The bias supply choke is 15H at 20ma. Have fun. Steve. -- Steven D. Swift, , http://www.novatech-instr.com NOVATECH INSTRUMENTS, INC. P.O. Triad Variable Tube Power Supply Schematic
I have a huge rack mount regulated power supply out in the garage. It
has 2 400vdc outputs, a negative bias output, multiple 6 vac filament outlets, and 2 amp variac. All in one unit. I was debating whether to sell it or junkit for the all the transformers. It uses a bunch of 6AQ5s and some solidstate rectifiers. The main power transformer would would work nicely on a good-sized tube amp. |
