Default Wanted: FM radio -> MP3 recorder with scheduler

Does anyone have a successful setup for recording radio programs like a VCR?

1. I want to record FM stations
2. I want to be able to record in MP3
3. I want to be able to schedule the recordings.

I have a Hauppauge TV/Radio PVR card, but their radio software is crap. I've
tested some of the available 3d party tools, but they mostly don't do the
entire job. Unfortunately, the only one which actually *would* do the job -
Axife - resists to get properly configured on my PC...

Any hints most appreciated. Thanks.
Rudolf
