Kenwood KT-6500 AM/FM Tuner

Image and more info: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/kt-6500.html

Kenwood KT-6500 tuner in near mint condition. Unmodified. All lamps working. A
beautiful piece. Reminds me of the 700T I once owned. I connected this tuner to
a receiver I had on the workbench and was very impressed with the quality of
sound. It sounded better then the tuner in the receiver I was using. Kenwood
had a nice clean, crisp face layout on this series. (14lbs net, 20lbs gross).

The FM Tuner Info site (fmtunerinfo.com) had some favorable comments about this
piece. I included some of their comments below.

Bob played with his KT-6500 and discovered it's a great project for entry-level
DIYers. I noticed the utter simplicity of the audio stage... there are a grand
total of three caps in the total audio stage. Period.

The KT-6500 was a new addition to Kenwoods 5500/6500/7500 line (there was no
equivalent model in their 5300/7300/8300 line). It sounds great...

All dried out and useless.

Bluebook value, $17

RIPOFF ALERT!

At that "valuation" is a lie, plain and simple. All of Brian McCarty's
valuations are lies....at least all of the ones in the last few years have
been.
