Default Shure parts

Need a capsule for Beta 57A (part R174). Is microphones.com a reputable
supplier of genuine parts ? Their price is significantly lower than NY
street...

I have never used them, but I will say:

1. For the good: the dealer markup on Shure parts is very high, so just
because they are severely discounted does not necessarily mean anything
wrong.

2. For the bad: The Beta 57 and Beta 58 microphones are among the most
counterfeited microphones in the world. So do inspect the capsules and
make sure they look the same. For the most part the makers of counterfeit
stuff work very hard to make the bodies look the same outside but don't
work so hard on internal parts, so fake elements should be easy to spot.
