How a Car Radio Play MP3 Songs in a CD?
I see many new car radios can play MP3 recorded in a CD. Considering
the fact that a CD can contain as many as 200 MP3 songs in it and the screen on a car radio is very tiny, I am wondering how we can select a MP3 song or a serie of MP3 songs from a CD. My questions a - Is this really a problem? - Do we manage this by using play-lists? - Is the way to manage MP3 in a car radio univeral to all car radios? Are they all work the same way in term of user interface? - Do we need to burn the CD in one way if we need to play it in one car radio, and burn the CD in a different way if we need to play it in another car radio? - Is one car radio that can play MP3 just as good as another car radio in term of playing MP3? Does the sound quality have more to do with how the MP3 was encoded and how good the car speakers are? Thanks in advance for any info. Jay Chan |

So each directory is an album, or playlist, or mix tape, or whatever. Then you can go through them one directory at a time on the player and get to the song you want quickly. Works pretty well -Ken |

Works pretty well Glad to hear that this is really not a problem. I have already organized MP3 files in my PC using folders. I should have no problem transfering the MP3 to a CD. I have a feeling that any car radio should be able to read a CD that has MP3 files organized by folders. Good. This means I will have a MP3 compatible car radio in my near future. Thanks. Jay Chan |
