Default Car stereo with USB that plays WAV files

AreIs there any car stereos that can play a lossless format
like WAV via the USB port? Or some reason this is not a standard?

Thanks

Maybe because you can't tell the difference between a 256kbs MP3 and a wave
file in a car environment, so anybody with a brain chooses to get 5 times
the amount of music on a memory stick, OR simply play CD's if you really
want uncompressed.
In fact I usually find 128-192kbs to be quite adequate in my car, but YOU
could try 320kbs if you really think you need it.

Plug an mp3 player that supports WAV format into your car sound system.
But make sure you use gold cables and gold connectors.

A sound that can only be described as "golden"

Most of those mp3/mp4 players can play WAV format.

That's what the sellers want you to believe anyway. No shortage of
overpriced crap however to disprove that old adage.

But still no good reason why you would need wave rather than a high bit rate
MP3 in a car.

No that's right. The question was only about formats, not quality =)
