Default Which of these speakers do you think are better?

Could someone just tell me if they think the Promedia GMX A-2.1 ( http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=656 )
or if the Edirol MA-20D is better ( http://www.edirol.com/products/info/ma20d.html ).
I think the Edirol speakers HAVE to be better. I can get them for about $250US with shipping
from online. I just want to make sure that the Promedia don't have some hidden advantage
that I hadn't thought of. I heard the Promedia hiss when nothing is playing which would drive
me crazy. I doubt the Edirol would. But some people seem to think that the Promedia are amazing
and I've never heard anyone talk about the Edirol. Thats probably because there not considered
as part of the same consumer circle or class. And tell me anything positive you think about the Edirol !
THANKS!

If your intention is to use your speakers for serious recording work, you
shouldn't get either one. Instead, you should get some decent monitor speakers
or good, shielded consumer hi-fi speakers such as Phase Techs, a decent A/D
converter or an audio card that has one built into it, and a decent power
amplifier to drive the speakers. What you're getting in these computer speakers
is almost certainly a mediocre converter and a mediocre amplifier, and I
hesitate to guess about the speakers themselves.

Peace,
Paul
