Default FA: dbx 400 Program Route Selector, Manual; NR

Tame the Processor Jungle!!

This is a dbx 400 Recording Technology Series Program Route Selector. It
is rack mountable or can sit flat on a shelf or on another component.
The rubber feet are not available, so some cushioning for the bottom is
recommended. This unit is in otherwise excellent condition, is working
properly and looks great.

The dbx 400 solves all your audio hookup problems in a single stroke. It
has inputs for as many as 3 tape decks (or CD/RW players), three sound
processors, and a noise-reduction unit. With pushbutton ease, you can
select the processors of your choice, the decks (or CD?s) of your choice
and add noise reduction. In addition, the 400 lets you produce from an
un-encoded tape an encoded copy that incorporates any combination of
noise reduction and sound processing of your choice. In the same way, an
NR-encoded music tape can be made into a non-encoded copy that
incorporates any combination of sound processing you choose. The
potential combinations boggle the mind and are elegantly simple to
implement.
