US Army War College Report: Iraq War Unnecessary
By imrdkl, 2004-01-13 15:44:53
Section: News, Topic: Freedom

The Army War College has published a report, which strongly criticises
the Bush administration's Global War on Terror (GWOT), and especially the
invasion and occupation of Iraq. "Bounding the Global War on Terrorism"
(PDF [http://carlisle-www.army.mil/ssi/pub.../bounding.pdf])
notes that the original purpose of the GWOT has grown from a search for
justice for the thousands of Americans lost in the 9.11 attacks, in to
something far too ambitious, and completely unrealistic. According to
the report, the invasion of Iraq was unnecessary, and a strategic error.

To claear up any potential misunderstanding,
it has been clearly reported that those are the views of
the individual author, and not the views of the War College.

You didn't see anybody dispute or refute it, though.

Of course, you wouldn't know what those things would be anyway.

You're that stupid, you end up being a bushcultie. Suck it down!

The Army War College

Lie #1. It was NOT the War College, it was a professor at same.

Yeah, the War College *did* publish it. Here's their web site:

http://carlisle-www.army.mil/

has published a report,

Lie #2. It was an ESSAY.

Wrong. The first line of the report clearly identifies it as a report.

"The views expressed in this REPORT..." In fact, the word *report* is
used three times in the first two paragraphs.

Next?

You lose.

Sorry. Maybe you should stay on the Dole, King Pineapple.
