Default What kind of amp do I need?

Alright, my system was stolen so I'm trying to replace stuff as
reasonably as possible. They took everything except my diamond sub:

Sorry if my questions are dumb, but i just don't remember... I see that
it's 8 ohms, does that make a difference when purchasing an amp? Is it
better to go with a 2 channel for a single sub? How much power do I
need to best fit that diamond sub? I had a kenwood excelon kac x201t:

I will not be adding to my system so no need to allow extra wattage in
the amp. Should I go with the new kac x522 or is that just a waste of
money? I don't want to cheap out but at the same time, I don't want to
waste money. Thanks!

p.s. specific recommendations would be appreciated.
