I'm curious where he's getting this list of manufacturers being "pretty good
brands" when he's never even owned or used the stuff. My guess is that he's
one of those guys who had a friend one day that claimed to be knowledgable,
and he took everything he said as gospel. That friend probably got it from
another friend who looked it up in a magazine, or spent the day comparing
spec sheets to arrive at these conclusions. Regardless, it's ignorance and
it's pretty easy to spot. Of course, it's to be expected that a gullible
half wit like him would be taken in by such BS.

well i hear round speakers sound better than 6x9s.but i dont think its
that noticable....

Oh, is that what he was asking about, 6.5" round vs. 6x9's? With the
bad spelling, poor sentence structure, no caps etc. it's hard to read
the thing anyway. This isn't IM where cute little abbreviations for the
sake of time are more important than clarity of writing and thought.

It has nothing to do with the reader(s) smarts, it has to do with *your*
smarts.

If scientists and engineers communicated with each other trying to
exchange ideas as poorly as do you and with your attitude we would still
be riding in buggys and shoveling horse ****.

What it really comes down to is, when *you* need an answer why should
the person reading your post put in the effort to make sense of your
mess? To get the best results use your best skills when asking for
help. The easier it is for the reader, the more likely you will fulfill
your goal.

Why do you think you aren't really getting definitive answers from

Damn, kid! I think all anyone is saying is this: if you communicate

And as to what I understand about your original question - if you
already have 6x9 holes, just put in 6x9 speakers. Make it easy and

speakers and don't want to spend the money to get the larger ones.
That's understandable, but as Ben Franklin said: "Don't be penny-wise
and pound-foolish". Who's Ben Franklin? What is the "pound" this
expression refers to? That is your homework assignment for the day.

Now for the final explanation.
I'm sure you have seen quoted text in a post or email.
It would look something like this:

This is an example of a "block quote". This text will be much
smaller than the message text below. This would be the text that someone
copied, then pasted, then used a quote command to make smaller, and center
