Multiband Compression: Fast Attack and Fast Release usually Best?
It seems to me that this would be the case, especially if you are using the compressor as a soft peak limiter. Doesn't having a too slow release make the mix sound a bit funny, like the gain is pumping? |

It took buying a GML 8200 eq and a Manly vari mu compressor. In this day of automated mixes I found it better to go back and remix if the song needed more than 2or 3 dbs of highs or much compression. |
