Default "Nakamichi Tape Deck Liquidation"!!!!! Must go SOON SOON SOOOOOOON!!!!!!!! HURRY HURRY!!!!!

Greetings

NAKAMICHI TAPE DECKS FOR SALE!!!!!!!

I have accumulated a collection of Nakamichi Cassette Decks. They are
as follows, All of them work well and are in good to excellent
cosmetic condition.

bx-100 original retail (courtesy Naks.com) - $349
cr-1a original retail (courtesy Naks.com) - $395
dr-3 original retail (courtesy Naks.com) - $430
cr-3a original retail (courtesy Naks.com) - $795
bx-300 original retail (courtesy Naks.com) - $750

TOTAL RETAIL BACK IN THE DAY - $2719

We can discuss price and am sure that we could come to a satisfactory agreement.

If anybody has any interest in any of these items, please contact me
ASAP.

I wish to sell all of them except 1 (or perhaps 2). I definitely want
to sell the bx-100 and the cr-1a . I have decided to definitely sell
those two because I prefer 3-head decks and the dr-3, though 2-head,
is an absolutely gorgeous machine - I love those fluorescent displays!
I have not decided what to do about the dr-3 and the 3-head decks
(cr-3a and bx-300). I will sell one by one or as a "collection".

I have tried eBay but I don't "enjoy" selling through eBay (especially
since nobody seems to want to pay more than $45 for a $500+ original
retail Nakamichi deck!!! - you probably can't buy a brand new cassette
"walkman" for any more than $45!)

If anybody has any interest in any of these items, please contact me
ASAP. I would like to move these as soon as possible and would like
to get them out of the house by April 3, 2004 (I need the potential
proceeds from the sale of these decks more than I need the decks - and
who the hell needs 3-4 extra cassette decks? I certainly don't!!!!)

We can discuss price and am sure that we could come to an agreement.

I live in Western Massachusetts (near Amherst and Springfield) and
would be willing to ship to ANYWHERE in the 50 United States. I would
tend to use the USPS, but can ship via UPS or FedEx as well. I charge
around $25 for shipping and handling - and I prefer to send insured.

I can accept payment via PayPal and money order (postal MO preferred,
but any will do). Once the payment clears my bank account (which
would be same business day with a postal MO and would hopefully be
April 1 at the latest) I will send the item/items the next business
day. We can also discuss payment and shipping terms.

Please reply to the email address below.
I will answer any questions you have.

If you know Nakamichis, you probably know what these are.
If you don't know Nakamichis, their decks are tops Tops TOPS!!!!!

Thanks!

That is very odd - try this one instead.

I sent from "gordonjward_1" to "barctor" and it did, in fact, come
back "Mail delivery failed". I logged onto "barctor" and sent to
"gordonjward_1" and it went through. That does not make sense to me,
but my understanding is limited. And I did receive a message at
"barctor" on March 15. Very odd. I don't know what the deal is about
the datamining thing . . . As I undestand it, the responding site
would be earthlink - seems odd that they would send a data mining
thing - but my understanding may be way off - I don't claim that my
understanding is correct by any means. But after testing out the
sending of the messages, I ran "Ad-aware" and the result was "0 New
objects" (of course, that might not "prove" or "mean" anything, but
again, my understanding may be "fuzzy").

Sorry about that (scratching my head . . .)\

Hmmmm . . .

I went shopping around today and came across an audio shop that would
sell these decks on "consignment", and my proceeds from the sale
(assuming that the items actually sell and that the guy was on the "up
and up" and that I understand how consignment sales work) would be to
my satisfaction (unlike the prices I have been seeing recently at
"auctions' end" on eBay - it seems to me that these items have
recently been fetching quite a bit less than they did a year ago - the
wrong audience thing might work, but it, i.e., the eBay contingent,
seemed to be the "right audience" about a year ago in terms of the
prices people were paying for these decks - I wonder if maybe the
bottom fell out of the used cassette deck market - but then again, my
recall of the situation might be off).

At any rate, my proceeds from any possible/hypothetical sale (at this
particular audio shop) is right in the (middle of the) "ballpark" of
the used prices listed on "Naks.com" (and my level of knowledge is
such that I can't say how authoritatice/accurate that site is). I
suspect, therefore, that these items are in fact worth something very
close to what I think they are worth. Of course, this is all
hypothetical and there may be factors I am not taking into account,
but I strongly suspect I can do much better than to sell these decks
on eBay at this particular time. Maybe cassette decks are becoming
"esoterica" and the "eBay contingent" may be "mass market" . . . I
have no idea . . .

At any rate, I'm thinking that one way or another, I will be able to
obtain acceptable funds from the sale of these decks, and the new
owners (assuming I don't end up being the last owner) will probably
get a good deck at a good price . . .

Of course, how much anyone other than I really cares about any of this
an unknown . . . hopefully I am not "wasting too much bandwidth" with
this . . .

This usually means the item is not worth as much as you think it is or
you are reaching the wrong audience.

Both Hijack This and CW Shredder catch some things that both AdWare and
Spybot miss.
