If that sounded like bull**** to you, then go ahead and mount them in the dash. Be advised, other people will tell you about phase-shift induced colorations caused by the windsheild - it's just as much bull****. -- Lizard teamROCS #007 / Technical Director / Founding Member *res derelicta* http://www.teamrocs.com/ Save Farscape http://www.watchfarscape.com |

Nothing wrong with it.
I like to cover exposed speakers with some type of cloth so the Sun doesn't eat them up. Remember, high freqs sound better when pointed "at you". Unlike bass which can successfully ( usually) come from the trunk. Bouncing off the windshield doesn't sound too bad. :-) Especially if your installation choices are limited. bobwatts® -- Diesel Chevette World ! //////////*****\\\\\\\\\\ Bob Watts Watts Carburetion Service Cincinnati, Ohio Since 1984 \\\\\\\\\\*****////////// http://w3.one.net/~watscarb/dieselvette.htm "SeaN" wrote in message . ca... well i have been to lik ehundreds of sites and they all said something about the dash being ****ty im wondering if its just the harddcore nuts saying this or thre is a noticable difference how bout under the dash(like by yrou feet) hows the uh "distortion" down there "The Lizard" wrote in message ... I usually like the sound of tweeters on or near the dash. Try it and see
if you like it also. Some people do temporary mounting for a few days or so to see if they like the location or not. If not, no big deal, they move it before making permanent changes.
