Crackling audio, is there hope?
I recorded a rock concert with my mp3 player and it came out
crackling as hell when the bands play. Is there a way to remove the crackles without losing too much from the audio or should I just delete the stuff and be done with it? |

For example Adobe Audition has a feature which repairs clipped audio (to some extent). But it may very well be a lost cause. |

You had sensible posts giving your impression of several mics irrespective of recieved belief/
So do you have observations - fair or foul - on any shortcomings of
the Neumann 105 volcal mik. The kid had a great voicce- a natural baritone who by singing has broadened it more that yhou could imagine. Mike heiis using in a rock band is the Senn 431 ii. iT SEEMS warm and thathis warm voice is not as cllear cutting through vis a vis the bandlevels and he is loathe to oversing as its not possible to turn the mike up enough to make it what we want. The Neumann 105 somded better jin the store, but that is notlive stage work. So I found someone oppinionated in a way I can relate to. If you counld comment on your impression of the Newmann 105, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Beckman |
