188 TH SMWTMS MEETING DETAILS

DATE: Saturday July 8, 2006

TIME: 2 PM Until ?

FORMAL MEETING: 4 PM

EVENT: Annual Trunk Sale XXV: Sell, Trade, or Auction your excess audio
gear and spare parts from the trunk of your car. Astounding items and
astounding prices have made the SMWTMS trunk sale popular. If you'd like to
auction your items, have bidders write their offers on a sheet of paper
attached to the unit offered for auction.

AES REPORT: . The "Detroit Delegation" will report on the latest in audio
from the AES Convention in Paris. David Clark will report on both sides of
the Preference vs. Reference argument. David Carlstrom will highlight a
discussion over publishing or not publishing an AES document on listening
methodology. Tom Nousaine will report on the quality of the crumpet and may
be able to share an "AES Insider" report from Bob Foley.

HOST'S SYSTEMS: Perhaps we can coax the host to explain his unique audio
systems and play some period music.
