grad student research project - digital home recording
I am a graduate student in product design at the Institute of Design
in Chicago, currently working on a group research project regarding audio production - specifically interfaces and issues users have with interfaces. We are looking for people involved with audio productions at all levels - amateurs, semi-pros, pros - to help with our project. If you are interested, we would ask you to complete one of the following : 1. fill out a brief survey on your recording habits and procedures 2. fill out a brief survey and take photos of your studio and possibly yourself interacting with specific pieces of equipment 3. if you live in the chicago area, allow us to visit your studio, conduct a brief interview and if possible document your equipment usage with still photos or video If you would be willing to take part in this study on any level, or would like more information, please email - any information obtained (survey answers, photos, video) would be used solely for the purpose of this project, which includes an in class presentation to approximately 25 people. Thank you for your time, and my apologies for the spam. David |
