I am trying to build a cell phone headset out of an old analog phone
head piece (just for kicks). Is it possible to connect a RJ11 male
plug to 2.5mm male plug.

Would this work?

I saw I might be able to:

tip to outer left
ring to inner left
sleeve to both right
Any ideas
