ink.net... "Paul Vina" wrote in message news:Z0XLb.16434$nt4.28868@attbi_s51... Bose sucks, face it. The guy can do far better for far less money. It may be overpriced, but if that's the sound he's after you can't really put a price on that. Question is..why would anyone want that sound? Once you hear a system that sounds twice as good that costs half as much, why would you want Bose? You really should broaden your horizons, Paul. Close the magazine, quit reading the ads, stop listening to Paul Harvey, and go out and do some listening on your own. You'd be surprised how bad Bose really is. Pug you would be surprised how many people love their Bose systems look at how many cars of all different price points contain Bose. I've seen a few theater systems also use the 3.2.1. system or how many have the Wave Radio. a lot of people like it for better or worse. |

Has ANYONE heard the new THX certified systems in the Lincoln LS and Navigator?? Every time I check with my local dealer they have no clue what I'm talking about. And now I see the commercials on TV, so I know I'm not imagining things! Tony -- is supposed to be out know but I don't think very many dealers are ordering it yet I would check on the net and see if select dealers get these cars. |

ink.net... And like you said, dealer cost is a great thing as my Servo didn't cost much more than an SVS. But I like them both better than the Sunfire which I thought sounded too much like a one note boomer...more like a bandpass box. Not that it matters, but I'd take any of them over M&K..talk about some overpriced junk. Customers seem to like them for some reason though. many recording studios used M&K a lot of churches also, I can't explain it. |

That's why I'm sitting here on a $3500 computer with $60/month broadband while watching a 100' projection TV while listening to a $6000 home theater system and researching stuff to add to my $2500 car stereo You paid way too much for that stuff then. $3500 for a computer??? Man you got hosed on that one. The monitor itself was $1500. That leaves $2000 for the rest of the parts. When you're building a system around an Athlon 64 with 2 gigs of memory and a SCSI RAID-5 array it don't come cheap. Do you just like to pay out the ass for your crap? Assuming you meant a 100" projection TV then you are obviously lying. The largest projection TV is 82", which if you were not such an idiot you would have at least made your lie plausible, or at least said watching TV on a 100" I suggest you go up a few threads and do some research on my projector. It would go BIGGER than 100" if I had the wall space. |
