subwoofer upgrade?
I have a JL 250 mono amp with a JL 10w3. I want to upgrade to a 10w6,
but use the same amp. Will there be an improvement in sound without getting a bigger amp? |

It's possible it will sound worse with the "upgrade". Why are you thinking about replacement? What is it about your current setup that you don't like? |

The 15W6 used to be around a couple of years ago. My friend owned one, until
a bad wiring job let her go in a silent way. The installer got what was coming to him. "Dark1" wrote in message ... "Dark1" wrote in message ... "Alan" wrote in message ... I like it fine, I just thought of upgrading the sub with a discount I
can get locally. On Sat, 22 Jan 2005 22:21:27 -0500, "MZ" wrote: I have a JL 250 mono amp with a JL 10w3. I want to upgrade to a 10w6, but use the same amp. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And you'll save yourself a couple bucks in
the process. "Alan" wrote in message ... I like it fine, I just thought of upgrading the sub with a discount I can get locally.
