QQE 06/40 question...
Hello all,
I would like to try & build an audio PP output stage using a QQE 06/40 tube. This is a dual tetrode commonly used in shortwave transmitters. Does anyone has any experience? Tips? Schematics, perhaps? TIA! Best regards, Frits van Mourik Geluidsstudio Het Pand, Vlaardingen Netherlands www.studiohetpand.nl |

writes The main point about these RF double tetrodes is that the screen grids share a common pin. This means you can only use a pure tetrode operating mode, no ultra-linear, etc. This isn't necessarily a show-stopper, but something to bear in mind. I would imagine you could do that with the QQE 06/40 as well. -- Chris Morriss |
