Was he a traitor? Was he seditious? He went a lot further than the
politicians your echo chamber condemns nowadays. In the '60s, North Vietnam
was our enemy. Cronauer didn't do his part to whip up a Red-hating frenzy.
He made [gasp!] jokes about the war.
